Our Story

Backstory of EverestArtStudios

🌸 I grew up with a mother who is a nun in Tibet, immersed in the quiet strength of prayer, compassion, and devotion. Though I am not from the high mountains myself, I carry their spirit in my heart.

🌍 Life led me to study abroad, giving me a rare chance to see beyond borders. I feel deeply that my path is to be a bridge—connecting Tibet’s sacred traditions with the wider world.

♻️ In the spirit of respect for the Earth, we pack with reused materials whenever possible. Walking lightly on this world is also part of our tradition.

🕯️ "Today, many Tibetan religious items face silence, restricted from being shared. These are not just objects; they are living expressions of wisdom and resilience. Through this shop, we preserve what is at risk of being forgotten. Every Handmade Vajra represents the indestructible power of the spirit.

💫 Every piece here is a blessing, a memory, and a voice that refuses to fade. Our Yak Bone Mala Beads are more than jewelry—they are tools for mindfulness. By bringing these into your life, you help keep alive a heritage of compassion and beauty.

Our Mission

At Everest Art Studios, our mission is to connect meaningful Himalayan art and traditional Dharma objects with people around the world, while helping preserve the craftsmanship, knowledge, and spiritual traditions behind them.

Our journey began with a deep appreciation for Tibetan Buddhist culture, sacred art, and the artisans who continue these centuries-old traditions. Over time, we built relationships with craftspeople, workshops, practitioners, and communities across Tibet, Nepal, and the Himalayan region.

We carefully select pieces that we believe carry more than visual beauty. From Buddhist statues and Tsa Tsas to malas, ritual objects, incense, pendants, and sacred artwork, each item is chosen for its craftsmanship, symbolism, and connection to spiritual practice.

For us, these are not simply decorative objects. Many have traditionally been used as reminders of compassion, wisdom, protection, mindfulness, devotion, and the path of practice.

Our hope is to make these meaningful pieces more accessible to practitioners, collectors, and spiritually curious people worldwide, while also sharing the stories, traditions, and people behind them.

Above all, we want Everest Art Studios to be a place where art, spirituality, craftsmanship, and human connection come together.

Our Design & Craftsmanship

Everest Art Studios works closely with a growing network of independent artisans, traditional workshops, and craftspeople, particularly in Tibet and Nepal.

Many of the techniques used to create our pieces have been passed down through generations — including hand casting, carving, painting, gilding, gemstone inlay, clay moulding, metalwork, bead making, and traditional incense preparation.

Whenever possible, we communicate directly with the people who make and source our pieces. This allows us to better understand the materials, craftsmanship, symbolism, and stories behind what we offer.

Because many of our items are handmade, subtle variations in colour, texture, carving, patina, and finish are natural. We believe these small differences are part of what makes traditional craftsmanship so special — no two handmade pieces are ever completely identical.

Our collection is continually evolving as we discover exceptional artisans, rare traditional designs, and meaningful objects that we feel deserve to be preserved and shared.

Through Everest Art Studios, we hope not only to bring beautiful Dharma objects into your home and practice, but also to help support the artisans and communities who keep these traditions alive.

From the Himalayas, With Meaning

Every piece has a story — of an artisan, a tradition, a practice, or a symbol that has been carried forward through generations.

At Everest Art Studios, we are honoured to help those stories travel a little further.

Thank you for supporting traditional craftsmanship and for allowing these meaningful pieces to become part of your home, collection, or spiritual journey.

Dear Woser,
Thank you for curating and creating such a beautiful sacred piece. I feel like I was gifted this gold plated Buddha Shakyamuni statue from the Shambala Pure Realm itself. And I absolutely am so grateful for the sacred ornaments as well as the Kalachakra symbol handmade piece. As a devoted Kalachakra & Tara practitioner, this was such a sublime blessing from the divine!
